Summary
The motivation for the realization of this study arises from the concern to know what is the degree of information that teachers of primary schools in our province have about epilepsy, while also detecting their interest in it in order to propose future training actions. The data collected through a questionnaire allowed us to get an idea of ​​this group, which shows a certain degree of concern for these students by not having clear information and in some cases even stigmatized, but at the same time demonstrate their sensitivity and positive predisposition towards the full integration of students in the activities of school life, as well as their desire to expand knowledge in this and other fields, which provide them with security.
Summary
The aim of this study was to understand the level of information of primary school teachers in our province in Gran Canaria (Spain) on epilepsy and determine their interest in knowing the same to implement future educational actions. The data collected by a questionnaire demonstrated this collective to have a certain level of preoccupation for these students due to unclear information and, in some cases, stigmatization. Nonetheless, they also showed sensitivity and positive predisposition towards full integration of these students in school activities in addition to a desire to widen their knowledge in this and other fields providing safety for these cases.
